1. A Split April Vacation: (1st & 3rd week of April)
March 31, April 1st & 2nd(Due to Prestantia Easter program April 2nd) + April 14, 15, 16th (Avurudu Weekend).
Classes held : April 7, 8, 9th and April 21, 22, 23rd onwards.
2. The Sri Lankan Festival of Music, Speech & Drama (See iimsd.com –“ Festival”)
· Deadline for Festival registrations: April 7, 8, 9
* Registrations at the music school will close after this date.
· More Info on Festival Fees available after April 3rd on music.edu.lk under “Concert info” – password 3033
· Pre-requisite for Festival: Student should be in preparation or completed an exam in the selected category (Piano/voice/violin/ guitar).
· NEW! A nominal rate of Rs. 700 is assessed by the Music school for extra coaching sessions etc. above the Festival fee.
* Students who won awards @ 2015 district & National levels are granted a ‘Scholarship” & coaching fee waived-off

3. Parents ‘’Student Performance Open Day’’: The “open day’’ is held during your child/student’s regular class time on the week of MAY 5 (Thursday), MAY 6 (Friday) & MAY 7 (Saturday) to showcase performances of students All are welcome!
Goal: To build self-Confidence while honing musical skills in our students.
