Prestantia Music School Choirs were readyto compete in JULY 2020 - BELGIUM at the Choir Olympics - World Choir Games if not for COVID. Both choirs were Gold medal winners & crowned "Champions"at Asian Pacific Choir Games 2017
At the champions round was placed 2nd by 0.75 points to a Russian Choir - Alye Parusa rank #2 for Children’s choirs and #8 in the world. Prestantia became the best Sri Lankan Children’s choir by beating Revelations Academy (#858), and Soul Sounds at the championship round. Great achievement for a choir competing for the first time, also based outside Colombo city. Their Program included Ho Gana Pokuna, a song about the excitement of a group of kids who are going to look at the ocean for the first time! And it also included Festival Sanctus, Adiemus, and Shut the Door. Music directed/conducted/accompanied by Dr. Priyeshni Peiris Perera, assistant conductor – Wasantha Geekiyanage, Drums – Christopher Prins, Descant Recorder – Andrew Fernando, Choreographer - Nipuni Sharadha.

Due to their outstanding Performance at the Open Competition they were directly eligible to participate at the Championship round and also at the Grand Prix of Nations and was awarded a Gold Diploma.
